Council 953’s annual Christmas potluck will be held on Thursday, December 9th. This year’s event is being held jointly with Bishop Manogue Assembly 50. The doors open at 5:30 pm, and dinner will be served at 6:30. Council 953 and Assembly 50 will be providing a turkey and a ham.

Guests are asked to bring a dish to share.

Live Christmas Music to be performed on piano and cello!

Be sure to bring the kids, as a special guest may be stopping by to visit!

Also, we would ask that you bring an unused baby item for a donation to the Bishop Gallegos Maternity Home. Some suggestions are:

• Diapers
• Wipes
• Formula
• Bottles & nipples
• Baby Toys
• Onesies
• Receiving Blankets
• Baby washcloths
• Baby soaps

Christmas Party 2021-2

When: Thursday, July 14th
Social hour: 5pm
Officers installation: 5:30pm
Dinner: 6pm

Tri-tip/Chicken Dinner with all the Fixin‘s at $25 per person

There will be a short Business Meeting in Carl’s Room at 7pm to pay the bills.

The return of our long awaited  Mexican Night Event is here and all are invited to  celebrate with great Food, Music, Drink Specials and Raffle! Get your tickets as soon as possible so you don’t miss out!

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday November 13th immediately following the 9:30 AM Divine Liturgy at St Philip the Apostle Byzantine Catholic Church. Council 953 and Assembly 50, will be praying for their deceased Knights. This will be their first such commemoration since Covid began. All Knights and their families are encouraged to come and pray for our brother Knights who have fallen asleep in the Lord these past 3 years. The Memorial Service just takes a few minutes. Following the Memorial Service there will be refreshments served in the Parish Hall.

O Christ God, with the saints grant rest to the souls of your servants, in a place where there is no pain, no grief, no sighing, but everlasting life. May their memory be eternal.
