Fraternal Year Ending — Star Council Award Goals

Now is the time to be looking and taking stock of attaining your council’s coveted Star Council Award Goals. The June 30, 2012 deadline is coming very soon. I will help you in any way I can to meet those goals for the 2011-2012 Fraternal Year. I’m currently committed to helping on the insurance side, but I’ll be glad to help on the membership side as well.

If you know an eligible Catholic man who might be interested in joining the Order (and who among us doesn’t), he’s probably just waiting to be asked. I can help you either by approaching him myself, or by “coaching” you – transferring sales skills that you can use to recruit him and other prospects. As always, I’m at your service.

Let’s continue our momentum in attaining those goals and objectives that are so critical to the growth of your council : Recruitment, Insurance Members, and Council Activities.

With all of us working together – our fraternal leaders and our professional insurance force, we can help the Order’s continued growth and obtain the coveted Star Council Award !!!

Please contact me for any help I can offer you.

Brotherly yours,

Different Life Stages, Changing Needs

Different Life Stages, Changing Needs

You may have a long-range expense for which you are saving, such as college for your children. You may be concerned about a comfortable, worry-free retirement. You may want to protect your ability to earn a living. You may wonder if needing costly long-term care will deplete your hard-earned assets. You want to leave something for your wife, children, or grandchildren. At some point you may have had all of these needs on your mind. Over time, these thoughts make way for others as your needs evolve, your finances change and you get older. What is important to you at age 20, may not be at 30, or 45, or 65. What is the best way to be prepared for these changes before they happen?

One of the easiest ways to be financially ready for changes that come with different life stages is to meet annually with your professional Knights of Columbus agent, and address the needs that his analysis uncovers. This can help you be ready to face the financial challenges and issues on the road ahead. During that annual visit, I’ll take the time to review your needs, goals, and budget. I’ll update all beneficiaries on your policies and be sure your coverage meets your needs. I’ll recommend a program of life insurance, long-term care, and guaranteed retirement products that will help you rest easy at night. Whatever your needs, whatever your concerns, whatever your stage in life, I can help.

Let’s get together as soon as possible.

Brotherly yours,

Provider Pathway For Long-Term Care

Provider Pathway For Long-Term Care

Since its addition to the Order’s product portfolio in 2000, long-term care insurance has provided us with an excellent opportunity to further serve our Brother Knights and their families. And for our clients in the United States, a K of C Care policy brings added value.

That added value is in the form of a service called “Provider Pathway,” a program offering access to a network of long-term care providers at discounted rates. The network covers: home health care, personal emergency response systems, adult day care, assisted living, skilled nursing facilities and durable medical equipment.

Eligibility for participation in this program is open to Knights of Columbus Long-Term Care Insurance policyholders, their spouses, dependent children, parents and parents-in-law. All providers are fully credentialed and meet state licensing requirements.

If you are not a LTC policyholder and you would like more information on how you can avail yourself of this benefit, let’s get together as soon as possible.

At your service,

Beneficiaries…Who Do You Love?

Beneficiaries…Who Do You Love?

Valentine’s Day will soon be here! Do you know who the beneficiary is on your life insurance policy? Sometimes it is easy to overlook the simplest of things.

Why is it so important to know and to have your beneficiary information updated? A life insurance policy protects the financial status of another person – or people – in the event of your death.

When Purchasing Knights of Columbus insurance policy, you have selected a primary beneficiary, and if you desire, a contingent, or secondary beneficiary. It’s always a wise choice to have a contingent beneficiary because you may outlive your primary beneficiary. A contingent beneficiary is the person designated to receive life insurance policy proceeds if the primary beneficiary dies.

By being specific as possible in the wording your beneficiary designation you make sure that the life insurance proceeds will be available to your wife, daughter, son, etc., in a timely manner when needed most.

Your life situation will undoubtedly change over time. Plan to update your beneficiary designations periodically. This will ensure that your life insurance coverage will protect those you love and want to protect.

Changing your beneficiary is fairly simple. I can provide you with the necessary forms, and can help you fill them out. I can also help you with all of your life insurance policy beneficiary designations for any life insurance policy you hold – regardless of the company that issued it.

Are You Ready For Your Insurance Check-up for 2012? The Holidays Are Fast Approaching!!

Are You Ready For Your Insurance Check-up for 2012? The Holidays Are Fast Approaching!!

Now that the holidays are fast approaching! Can you believe it will soon be 2012? I hope that 2011 has been a healthy, prosperous year for you and your family. It’s said that time flies, and the older we get, the more that statement seems true. As we review the past year and prepare to welcome a new one, we wonder where the time goes.

If you’re like most people, you’ve made some resolutions for 2012. If I may, I’d like to make two suggestions regarding your resolutions. First, write them down. A resolution is really a goal for the year and, until you commit a goal to writing, it’s nothing more than a wish. Writing a resolution down is the first step towards achieving it. Whether your goal is to lose weight, contribute more time and money to charity, read more or watch less television, you’re more likely to accomplish it if you write it down.

Second, schedule some time to visit with me, your professional Knights of Columbus insurance agent. The “insurance check-up” that I’ll provide (free of charge, by the way!) will quickly identify any gaps in your family’s life insurance program. And you’ll want to fill those gaps now, not later. Because unlike many other products, you need more than money to obtain life insurance. You also need good health, and no one will ring a bell warning you when your health is about to change.

Knights of Columbus life insurance offers something precious few other financial products can – guarantees. As long as you pay your premiums, the policy proceeds will be there for your beneficiaries should something happen to you. We call that peace of mind, and that’s (as they say in the credit card commercials) priceless.

This Holiday Season, keep in mind the real meaning of CHRISTmas. Keeping CHRIST in CHRISTmas. Take time to enjoy your family and friends. Think of those things God has given us. Remember that you are the one who your family counts on for tomorrow’s support. The Knights of Columbus is here to help assure that mission is met.
