Happy Sunday Brothers! The Holy Trinity

Hello SKs and Brothers,
This Sunday our Chaplin Fr Davy shared some wonderful words on The Holy Spirit.
As we begin a new Columbian Year let us give thanks to God for a blessed year and for one ahead!
The mystery of the Holy Trinity is the most fundamental of our faith. On it everything else depends and from it everything else derives. Hence the Churchs constant concern to safeguard the revealed truth that God is One in nature and Three in Persons. The Holy Trinity, Pope Francis says, “is not so much a theological exercise,” but “a revolution in our way of life.”
Vivat Jesus!

Fwd: Congratulations to Fr Erik Armando Pereira

Hello SKs and Brothers,
A congratulations to Father Erik Armando Pereira who celebrated his Ordination into Priesthood this Pentecost Weekend, Saturday, June 4, 2022 at The Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament!
Through our continued support for Vocations each year are we able to help raise funds for our seminarians studying to become our future priests like Fr Erik.
A β€œThank You” to our Brother and DGK Tom who was able to navigate through all the closed roads around the Cathedral with me in order to deliver the reception food on time. Sister Maria had asked 953 several weeks ago if we would be able to pick up the orders early for setup before Mass she expresses her gratitude to the Council.
Blessings this Pentecost Sunday.

Hello SKs and Brothers,
Pentecost marks the end and the goal of the Easter season. For the Christians it is a memorial of the day the Holy Spirit descended on the apostles and the Virgin Mary in the form of fiery tongues, an event that took place 50 days after the resurrection of Jesus. Pentecost is the incarnation of the Holy Spirit into the world of men and women; it also commemorates the official inauguration of the Christian Church by the apostolic preaching of St. Peter, resulting in the conversion of 3,000 Jews to the Christian faith. Pentecost is thus the official birthday of the Church.
Vivat Jesus!
