Sacred Heart/Corpus Christi/Congratulations to SK Ricardo

Hello SKs and Fellow Brothers,
I hope you and your loved ones had a blessed weekend as we celebrated Corpus Christi over the weekend at Sunday Mass.
Our Chaplin Father Davy made a formal announcement Sunday and shared that our fellow brother SK Ricardo Saldana’s application has been accepted. So begins his studies to become a Deacon! Congratulations Brother!
Today we celebrate The Sacred Heart of Jesus today and let us remember in prayer The Saldana Family as SK Ricardo begins his new journey of education in our Lord’s name.
SK Ricardo with Father and 953 Brother Miguel and youngest son Navy.

The Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus or Sacred Heart Day is observed in Colombia 10 weeks and a day after Easter Sunday and is all about highlighting the perfect, immeasurable love of Jesus Christ for all humanity. This year, it falls on June 27. This day originally falls 19 days after Pentecost, which is always a Friday, but like other Catholic celebrations in Colombia, it is celebrated on the Monday after the actual date.
