John Bashore’s family is our Family of the Month for March. John is a first degree member of the Knights and a true family man. He is married with three lovely children who attend St. Mary’s School. John has been a member of the Council for at least two years now and he works in Social Services for the County of Sacramento. In addition to being a great father he is also the head coach for the fourth grade girls basketball team at St. Mary’s and an assistant coach for the first grade girl’s team. He is an active parishioner at St. Mary’s Church and he looks forward to getting more involved with the Knights this year.

Family of the Month –November 2013
He has been a member of our council for a year. He is an assistant teacher for the Religious Education program at his church. He is the outside guard and the Knight Letter editor for our council. He is the chairman of the Property Committee at his children’s school. Even before she became Catholic his wife Laura attended church and saw to it that her children were brought up in the Catholic Church. He has 4 children ages 12, 6, 4 and 11 months. His oldest daughter Katlyn sings with the choir at church. November’s “Family of the Month” is the Adam Struck family.
Family of the Month – September 2013
At the September business meeting, the family of Dominic Ielati was named Family of the Month. Dominic has been very involved in 953 for several years as an officer, and previously as Pro-Life director.
Family of the Month July 2013
We are very pleased and honored to announce that the family of Bryan McKrell, has been selected as the Family of the Month for the month of July 2013. Bryan is currently the Recorder of our Council and has also been the Family Director of our Council for the past year. As Family Director he has organized a Family Night and has also recently organized a Family Picnic.
Council Members Honored at PGK/Old Timers Dinner
George Mills and Dale Edwards were both chosen as Knight of the year by the Council. Bill Renard and his wife Anne Liese Renard were chosen as Family of the Year. A Certificate of Appreciation for his service as Chaplain for the past two years was presented to Fr. Francis Chirackal. A plaque for his two years of service as Grand Knight was presented to PGK Ricardo Saldana.

Dave and his wife Bonnie have just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
Br. Dave with the support of his wife Bonnie, have done great jobs at the Council’s Fund raisers for Charities. Also if not working at these fund raisers they, always attend them.
